GaGa for Glee!

What Casey said.

And now for the Glee rumor mill:

  • Rumor has it that tonight’s episode is Boys v. Girls… with the boys performing a Bon Jovi song. You can watch a sneak peak here. I won’t watch because I wanna watch it as a whole. I’m a purist that way.
  • Rumor has it that Lady GaGa (love!), President Obama, and the cast of Glee will be at this Saturday’s HRC (Human Rights Campaign) dinner… mega jeal I won’t be there.
  • Rumor has it that the “musical catalog for the show has surpassed the 1 million download mark and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight.” (via Perez Hilton) No kidding. I’ve downloaded a good 84 percent of them, myself.
  • Rumor has it that mollytics will be a special guest star on next week’s Glee episode.

SIKE. But wouldn’t that be fun? Which song would I perform? It’s fun to daydream.

UPDATE: Reliable Source has more on the hottest ticket in town (Thanks ALJ):

Why did Lady Gaga and Kanye West call off their joint tour? Still no solid answers, but maybe she was just trading up: On Saturday, it turns out, Gaga will share a stage with none other than President Obama at the annual Human Rights Campaign dinner.

The White House confirmed Monday that Obama will keynote the gathering of the national’s largest gay and lesbian advocacy organization — only the second time a sitting president has addressed the HRC (after Bill Clinton in 1997), and the first time a sitting president has headlined with the pantless phenom best known for coining the phrase “disco stick” in her hit song “LoveGame.” (And no, we don’t know if they’ll actually be onstage at the same time. But you gotta have a dream.)

The big-ticket dinner for 3,000 at the Washington Convention Center will be held on the eve of a much larger gay-rights gathering, the National Equality March on the Mall. The HRC will present its first-ever Edward M. Kennedy National Leadership Award to activists Judy and Dennis Shepard. Also in the house that night: The TV cast of “Glee.”

  1. It’s the hottest ticket in town for gays who will trade their basic civil rights for a meaningless speech full of empty platitudes and a photo opp with a slippery politician who clearly has no real interest in them.
