“It’s me against the music”

Dear friends and readers,

I hear you. I read you. I know you’re asking where my post is on Britney’s “performance” last night at the VMAs. I know!

But my depression over aforementioned event took me to a deep, dark, lonely place… and until I emerge, I’ve got nothing to say.

So hang in there, and I’ll do the same.

  1. I want to comment, but I feel like it has all been said. The one thing I have to say is that despite last night’s trainwreck, I still have a smidgen of hope for her. I don’t know why, but I do. Maybe it’s the Louisiana connection. Bless her heart.

  2. I agree with DW. I feel like the CD could still be amazing, but this just set her back about 2 years.

And, can you still claim the Louisiana connection when you haven’t visited Kentwood?

  3. I know… I mean, if I lived in Louisiana, I’d be all over Kentwood (and the Seredipity mansion), no question. But, you know, that’s just me.

  4. You bitches need to get off my back. Focus on Britney and her obvious nervous breakdown.

If Honey is down for a visit to Kentwood at Christmas, I’ll go. Now leave me alone or you’ll never see my red beans again. Hmph.

  5. So basically you’re one Honey away from seeing the birthplace of all that is crazy/beautiful?

Because I wouldn’t let that stop me.

  6. Honey is a powerful force dude. You don’t want to mess with that. and let me tell you, she would get Britney in shape. Make that bitch kneel on rice on a hard floor until she had underwear permanently installed on her ass.

  7. You girls crack me up…I gotta say I have pretty much no hope for Brit after Sunday.

Also I mean obvi visiting the birthplace would be fun but I mean how much can one really see that we have not already seen besides the fact that we know Brit will not be there. Sorry I know I am going to get yelled at for this but I had to say it. It’s just not practical
